Women in Agriculture Empowerment Program
At this first edition of our Women in Agriculture Empowerment Series, we celebrated women transforming agriculture through opportunity and support. Several women were empowered to assist them in maintaining better production standards, there by improving efficiency and leading to business expansion. Here are a some highlights from the event :
Adenike Odunuga
A dedicated crop farmer and one of the beneficiaries of our Women in Agriculture Empowerment Program. Crop farming requires proper land preparation, timely planting, and consistent field management to achieve healthy yields and long-term success. In the past, Adenike (BOMIN FOODS) relied heavily on manual labor for soil preparation, a process that was physically demanding, time-consuming, and limited the scale of land she could cultivate efficiently. Through this initiative, she received a Honda Tiller, a reliable and efficient tool that has transformed her farming operations. This documentary shares her inspiring journey and highlights how access to modern agricultural equipment is empowering women farmers to grow sustainably and expand their agribusinesses.Tajudeen Kuburat
A hardworking fish farmer and one of the beneficiaries of our Women in Agriculture Empowerment Program. Running a fish farming business requires constant access to clean water. Before now, Mrs Kuburat faced challenges with water supply, high labor costs, and limited productivity. Through this program, she was gifted a Honda water pump, giving her the ability to manage her ponds more efficiently, expand production, and improve her income. This documentary shares her story, her challenges, her dreams, and how the right equipment is helping her build a stronger and more sustainable business.Mojirade Oluwadiya
A dedicated mushroom farmer and one of the beneficiaries of our Women in Agriculture Empowerment Program. Mushroom farming requires careful spraying, hygiene, and consistent care. Before now, Mrs Mojirade relied on manual methods that were time-consuming and physically demanding. Through this initiative, she received a Honda Motorized Back Sprayer (MBS), a vital tool that helps her maintain better production standards, improve efficiency, and expand her mushroom business. This documentary shares her inspiring journey and shows how access to the right equipment is transforming her work and livelihood.
Opeyemi Oladunni
As a crop farmer, Mrs Opeyemi relied on manual spraying methods that were time-consuming and physically demanding. Through this initiative, she received a Honda Motorized Back Sprayer (MBS) to help her manage pests and crops more efficiently.
With this equipment, she can now farm smarter, increase productivity, and reduce the stress of daily farm operations.
Atinuke Lebile
A dedicated food processor and crop farmer, and one of the proud beneficiaries of the program.
Food processing and crop farming require precision, proper crop care, and consistent field management to ensure quality yield and productivity. Before now, Mrs. Atinuke relied on manual spraying methods that were time-consuming, labor-intensive, and limited her efficiency on the farm.
Through this initiative, she received a Honda Motorized Backpack Sprayer (MBS)- a vital tool that enables her to manage her crops more effectively, maintain healthier fields, and improve overall productivity with better efficiency and reduced physical strain.
Adeyemo Mary
A committed crop farmer specializing in root and tuber crops, and one of the beneficiaries of this program.
Root and tuber cultivation demands proper land preparation, soil management, and consistent field maintenance to achieve healthy yields. Previously, Mary relied on manual labor for land preparation a process that was strenuous, time-consuming, and limited the scale of her farming activities.
Through this initiative, she received a Honda Tiller, a powerful and efficient tool that has transformed her farming operations. With improved soil preparation, faster turnaround time, and reduced physical stress, she is now able to cultivate larger portions of land and increase her overall productivity.
Omotosho Rofiat
A hardworking crop farmer specializing in cassava and maize production, and one of the beneficiaries of the Program.
Cassava and maize farming require proper land preparation, timely cultivation, and consistent field management to achieve strong yields. In the past, Rofiat depended heavily on manual labor for soil preparation, a process that was physically demanding, slow, and limited the size of land she could cultivate.
Through this initiative, she received a Honda Tiller, a reliable and efficient tool that has significantly improved her farming operations. With better soil preparation, faster turnaround time, and reduced physical strain, she can now cultivate more land, improve crop performance, and increase her overall productivity.
